The Outside Sales Consultant has proven experience in prospecting, qualifying, and developing new business in a target market area. He or she will offer advanced linen and uniform solutions to customers with the primary focus on new business development in a regional territory with current and new customers (75% New Business Development). The ideal candidate for this position has five to seven years of proven sales experience working independently from a home office to develop new business in a targeted territory. Industry-related experience or experience in developing customers in a contract-based sales scenario a plus. He or she must be a self-directed, results-oriented sales professional who has proven territory management experience and is looking for an independent field office role. The Outside Sales Consultant must have a strong work ethic, competitive spirit, effective sales skills, and a willingness to work independently in a competitive marketplace. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
