Job Title:  Sintering Operator

Location:  Roanoke Rapids, NC


Job Description:


Duties include operation, setup, loading and unloading, monitoring and programming, tip setting, tray preparation, and the safe handling of hazardous gases.


Job Responsibilities:


1. Heat turn around / load and unload. 38 %

2. Tip Setting of Inserts. 24 %

3. Tray preparation / cleaning / painting. 12 %

4. Support Maintenance and Engineering in testing and repair and preventative maintenance. 12 %

5. Troubleshooting Metallurgical / furnace problems. 5 %

6. Co-ordinate with Lab for Quality test and releasing heats. 3 % 

7. SPC control charting. 3 %

8. ISO procedures / implementation / writing / revisions. 3 %


Knowledge, Education and Skill Set:


Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required.

Strong Mathematical skills required.

Prior Experience with maintenance troubleshooting is required.

Available to work 12 hour shifts and to cross train to Ceramic Sintering as well.

Strong attention to detail is required.
